Chrome and April Updates to Milestone Planner

May 20th, 2014 by The Milestone Planner

This month the original Milestone Planner Chrome Web Store app is on track to pass 20,000 active users. A huge thank you to everyone that has left us 5 star ratings and great reviews! If you enjoy using Milestone Planner, we would love you to add to them in the Chrome Web Store here.

Right now, we are in the process of sprucing up our help pages, so if you would like to know more about any Milestone Planner functionality, it is a great time to ask. The first in a new series of videos shows how Professional Edition users can repeat actions, milestones, workstreams, or even whole plans: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyIgwMPmXZI

You have probably read about the “Heartbleed” security issue that hit the Internet last week – we have written a response on our blog.  The tl;dr; version: Milestone Planner is not vulnerable, but you may want to consider updating your passwords – many Internet sites still are. This month we will be retiring  “Persona” as a login option, as it isn’t used frequently, and updating to Google’s new API, which means that you may see a prompt to re-authorise Milestone Planner when you login if you sign in via Google.

We are continuing to track down  obscure bugs, and still making a donation to charity for any bugs that you report, so please keep the reports coming in. We want to make planning a positive experience for everyone!

If your plans have got slightly behind, this video shows how to quickly bring them up to date. Our research shows that the more frequently you check in on your plans, the more progress you make.
